In 1828, Charles Parker started making coffee mills for Patrick Lewis, a manufacturer of coffee mills. Charles contracted with Patrick Lewis to make coffee mills for his company. The Charles Parker company went through many rough times including many failures and closures until they closed the door permanently. I will share more history on Charles Parker on its history page. It was really an innovative company at the time with huge number of patents.
Charles Parker Coffee Mills for Sale
One of the most interesting coffee mills they’ve invented was the Planters’ Mills from the late 1850s. I really wish I can see it in person someday. I haven’t yet to see it on eBay. I did see a few offers for broken ones, but haven’t seen a full set (with its stand)

It is actually not made for coffee, but this thing was a monster. It was known to grind just about anything, including coffee, widely used on farms.
