Landers, Frary & Clark Antique Coffee Grinders

Making household goods for nearly 100 years, Landers, Frary & Clark of Connecticut produced a great number of different coffee mills for many decades. With a few key coffee mill patents in 1875 and 1878, they started making coffee mills of all kinds: box mills, wall mills, side mills, double-wheel mills, and more. LF&C coffee grinders/mills are highly popular for collectors.

Landers, Frary & Clark (LFC) was a company based in New Britain, Connecticut that was known for producing a wide range of household goods including coffee grinders. The company was founded in 1855 by George W. Landers, Charles W. Frary, and James Clark, and it quickly became a leading manufacturer of household items in the United States.

LFC was known for producing high-quality and innovative products, and its coffee grinders were no exception. The company’s coffee grinders were known for their durability and efficiency, and they were widely available through retail stores and catalogs. In addition to coffee grinders, LFC also produced a variety of other household items including stoves, lamps, and other small appliances.

The company continued to produce coffee grinders and other household items until it closed its doors in the mid-20th century. Today, LFC coffee grinders are highly sought after by collectors and are considered to be among the best of their kind.

LF&C also made electric mills. Those are : No E972, E951, E982, E961, E9211, E9311, E9031, E9011, E9111, E9231, E9141, and lastly double coffee mill from 1935.

    What yr did they make a Landers and Frary #30 coffee grinder ?

      Between 1910 and 1919 because they got the patent for it in 1910 and they discontinued those wheel based mills by 1919. Their focus shifted to electric grinders.
